![]() ![]() You will notice they maintain their much higher health between games. ![]() Make a new character in 1.14d, type /players 8, go hit things in the blood moor (for comparison), save & exit (without exiting the application), then go in on your character and without typing anything go hit monsters again in the blood moor. You can see discussions relating to this dating back to early 2000s - take for example this thread: “Retype /players X on every run? | Diablo IV, Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 Forums” I can’t actually add links here However, this is the only case I can think of it being preferable. So D2R behavior saves you typing /players 1 once every run at the beginning of the run, because otherwise you’d be set to /players 3 when entering the new game since you killed baal on /players 3, and that setting is maintained between games. One use case where D2R behavior (reseting to /players 1 each game) is preferable is doing repeated baal runs to 99 in single player, where generally you always want /players 1 when clearing out baal’s throne room, then /players 8 when clearing baal’s waves, then /players 3 when killing baal himself. It results in overall less typing in almost all cases. This behavior should be reverted to it’s original D2L behavior as this is what a large portion of the single player community are accustomed to, along with being overall more convenient for doing repeated runs of the same target that you wish to farm on a higher players setting. players setting will be maintained per character even when exiting the application entirely.ĭ2R Behavior - /players setting never maintained under any circumstance. players setting will be displayed as a message in each new game at time of creation and 2. I know I just replied to another thread like this one, but is correct - /players settings in D2L between games will stay the same as long as you don’t entirely exit the application.ĭ2L Behavior - type /players 8 on a character, save and exit, don’t exit the application entirely, enter new game on character > new game will be set to /players 8 (without notifying the player of the /players setting.)ĭ2L BehaviorWITH PLUGY (and specific setting enabled) - same exact behavior, except adds 2 features - 1. ![]()
